The Health Community of West Africa (HCOWA) have met with the Central Regional Coordinating Council (CRCC) at Cape Coast.

The Regional Minister Honourable Mrs. Justina Marigold Assan welcoming the delegates, called for the need to involve the Regional Director of Health, since they would be in the best position to ascertain the needs and equipment deficit of the Region and also identify the specific hospitals that would be in dire need of these equipment.

The Chief Director for the Central Regional Coordinating Council, Mr. Michael Owusu Amoako requested the team to submit a proposal to declare their intensions of providing forms of assistance.

He added that, the proposal would be assessed to determined whether it fits into the 2030 development plan of the Region.

The purpose of the meeting was to build partnership with CRCC after their encounter during the Central EXPO 2023.

The team also indicated that, questionnaires would be distributed to the various hospitals to gather information on their specific demands.

According to the team, the survey would also convince and attract investors and other Chinese industries.

The team assured that, the projects would be executed in two modules that is either by the Government or beneficial hospitals and also the cost of equipment would either be paid by the beneficiary hospital or central Government in installments.

Both HCOWA and COA Research and Manufacturing company pledged their unflinching support to make the Central Region a preferred place to do business.
