Central Regional Coordinating Council

mandate

The Central Regional Coordinating Council exists as an arm of the Executive to provide quality Administrative and Technical Services to Ministries, Departments, Metropolitan, Municipal, District Assemblies, Agencies and Non-Governmental Organizations through monitoring, coordinating and evaluation of the activities and performances that are geared towards the improvement of the life of the citizenry.

Vision

The Vision of the Central Regional Coordinating Council is to foster unity of purpose among the people by involving all stakeholders to achieve accelerated development

mandate

The Central Regional Coordinating Council (CRCC) derives its existence and mandate from two (2) important documents:

  • The 1992 Constitution of Ghana
  • Local Governance Act, 2016 (Act 936)

The Regional Coordinating Council serves as the link between the Central Government and the Local Level.

Kakum National Park

The Kakum Conservation Area was legally gazetted as a National Park and Resource Reserve in 1992 under the Wildlife Reserves Regulations (Ll 1525) under the administrative jurisdiction of the Wildlife Division of the Forestry Commission of Ghana).
