Members of the Central Regional steering committee of the 2022 Central Region, Trade and Investment Fair, Central Expo’2022 have met to review the aftermath of this year’s event in the Central Region that has been revived after 24 years ago to assess its successes, failures, observations and recommendations.
Speaking at the meeting, the Hon. Regional Minister, Mrs. Justina Marigold Assan who chaired the Expo’ 2022 congratulated committee members for dedicated performances exhibited during the long awaited event after 24 years.
She asked members to participate same enthusiasm exhibited when called upon to move Central Region forward.
The Regional Minister did not hesitate adding that members who showed no commitments should not be given any opportunities to be part of any upcoming events.
Mrs. Assan also called for enhancement in terms of external collaborations to make subsequent of such same business fair more attractive and memorable, especially when it has been stalled for years.
She urged all committee members to be part of the upcoming National Festival of Arts and Culture (NAFAC) which Central Region is privileged to be hosting Ghana and the Diaspora, as well as the Regional Farmers Day in December.
The Chief Director, Regional Coordinating Council, Mr. Kingsley Agyei-Boahene who was the Co-chair of the event assured members of the necessary suggestions and observations taking to address setbacks of such memorable events in the future to attract more businesses to the region.
He also noted the commitments of all steering committees members and asked them to maintain such wonderful performances exhibited.
The Central Expo’ is considered to be celebrated again in the coming years.
