The Central Regional Coordinating Council (CRCC) in partnership with TIAST Group, have entered into an official Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to host this year’s Central Expo 23, dubbed “Central Region Investment, Trade, and Tourism Expo Ghana” (GCERITTE).
The event will be held at Adisadel College Park in Cape Coast, Ghana, from August 25 to September 2, 2023. It will be open every day from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. GCERITTE aims to foster collaboration and attract foreign investors, particularly from the Asian giant, China, to the Central Region. This strategic partnership between both parties will create a platform for networking, business growth, and the exploration of investment opportunities in the
region.
As a one-week fair preceding the Oguaa Fetu Afahye Festival, GCERITTE is expected to increase business opportunities, boost the Ghanaian economy and help small and medium-sized businesses grow. The event will welcome Chinese companies from various industries such as technology, machinery, chemicals, health, engineering, and agriculture. This collaboration aims to foster innovation and knowledge-sharing between local businesses in Ghana and their Chinese counterparts.
With over 400 exhibitors from private, government, and corporate sectors, Central Expo 23 anticipates hosting more than 30,000 visitors. The event will be graced by distinguished guests, including the Vice-President of Ghana, H.E
Mahamudu Bawumia, Ministers of State, members of Parliament, all 22 Metropolitan, Municipal, and District Chief Executives (MMDCEs) in the Central Region, members of the Diplomatic Corps, Chiefs and Queen mothers of the Central Region, the Business Community, and the Media Fraternity.
Both parties are delighted to collaborate in organizing Central Expo 23, an event of great significance for the Central Region and Ghana as a whole. We believe that this expo will serve as a catalyst for economic growth, investment opportunities, and cultural exchange. We invite the general public to join us and explore the exciting prospects that Central Expo 23 has to offer.
Finally, the Central Expo 23 promises to be an unparalleled platform for businesses, investors, and visitors to engage, collaborate, and explore the potential of the Central Region. Attendees can look forward to an array of exhibitions, conferences, cultural showcases, and networking opportunities, all aimed at driving economic development and fostering regional partnerships.
