An integrated recycling, composting plant and medical waste treatment plant has been commissioned at Krampakrom– Mankessim in the Central Region.
The Central Regional Minister, Honourable Mrs. Justina Marigold Assan in her welcome address, acknowledged the JOSPONG GROUP OF COMPANIES, its stakeholders and the Mankessim Traditional Council for making the project a success from the sword cutting stage of the project to the commissioning stage of the project.
“This project will help in a cleaner and healthier environment for the people of Central Region and Ghana at large, helping to promote employment both direct and indirect over five hundred (500+) and also generate revenue for Central Region and Ghana as a nation”, she stated.
Honourable Mrs. Assan threw more light on the fact that, ‘ waste was no longer going to be waste but recycled to become compost which will help in the agricultural field of Central Region and Ghana as a nation.
